On the morning of July 18, 2024, at the Ministry of Justice, Mr. Ketsana Phommachanh, Deputy Minister of Justice, warmly welcomed Ms. Perrine Simon, the newly appointed International Technical Assistant (ITA) for the JuSTICE project in Lao PDR, along with the project team.

During the meeting, Mr. Ketsana Phommachanh expressed his appreciation and extended his best wishes to Ms. Perrine Simon as she begins her role within the JuSTICE project. In response, Ms. Perrine Simon provided an overview of the project’s progress to date, outlined future plans, and discussed challenges in implementing project activities.

The discussion also included a report on the ongoing cooperation between the National Institute of Justice and the French Law School, highlighting key achievements and future collaboration. Both parties exchanged ideas and consulted on strategies to optimize project activities and ensure maximum impact moving forward.

This meeting underscored the continued commitment to strengthening cooperation and advancing the objectives of the JuSTICE project in Lao PDR.
