Our Partners

The Judicial Services, Training and Institutions Capacity Enhancement (JuSTICE) Project is a collaborative initiative designed to strengthen the rule of law in Lao PDR. It is funded by a grant from the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and led by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) of Lao PDR.  

The project involves a partnership between multiple key stakeholders within the Lao justice sector. These partners include:  

  • The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) and its key departments  
  • The Office of the Supreme People’s Prosecutor (OSPP)  
  • The People’s Supreme Court (PSC)  
  • The Lao Bar Association (LBA)  
  • The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MoNRE)  

The project is governed through a structure that includes:

  • The Steering Committee (SC), responsible for approving the project’s strategic direction and Annual Action Plans.  
  • Technical Coordination Committees (TCCs), which ensure coordination and synergy among the partners in the implementation of project activities.  
  • Focal Points within each partner institution, who coordinate the implementation of activities within their respective organizations.  
  • The Project Management Unit (PMU), responsible for the overall coordination, administration, and implementation of the project.  

This partnership structure aims to effectively utilize resources and expertise to achieve the project’s objectives of promoting the rule of law and enhancing the capacity of the Lao justice sector.
